Favorite Spring and Summer Nail Polishes!

So first of all, I LOVE nail polish, especially spring nail polish. There is rarely ever a day where i don't have any on my nails. For Spring and Summer, I love bright colors and Essie is my favorite brand! I narrowed it down to my top six favorites. 

The first one is bright pink- You can never go wrong with it! Pink is always my go to color when I don't know what to wear!

I also love the color Romper Room, which is the very light blush pink color. It will go with any outfit. The same thing goes with white. I have been loving white nail polish, I am actually wearing it now! It looks great if you're tan too. ;)

The purples are called Play Date and Bikini So Teeny, which is a bluish purple. Purple is really pretty in the spring time and it is a little bit of a different, more fun color. It can be a bold part in a neutral outfit and I love the pop of color it gives.

Lastly, one of my favorites, is Mint Candy Apple. This is a super popular color from Essie and it looks absolutely gorgeous on! It is also great if you are tan. (not me, lol!)

So if you have been wanting to try Essie, I definitely recommend it! These are just a few of my brighter favorites but they have all types of options!

I have been loving scallops lately! They are a big trend for spring and I couldn't love them more! How cute is this top? Pairing it with the white shorts gives it contrast and the purse gives it a pop of color! I gave simple jewelry so the scallops would still stand out. These Kendra Scott earrings are my new favorite since you can wear them with about anything. You can't see it in the picture but they have a really pretty pearly finish that I love!

So... I just wrote this whole post then deleted it, go me! But, yesterday I was at my sister's bridal shower. I just love spring weddings and anytime weddings. So, my simple but cute dress is from Old Navy. I love the back of it and it is the perfect length! You can wear it with a cardigan over it, which I have to do for school... ugh not fun, or you can wear it by itself! My bag is from Kate Spade, and it is the perfect size for me and it is convenient but cute because you can carry it... without carrying it, which is why I love crossbody bags, lol! My earrings are Kendra Scott look-a-likes. They are so cute and go along with the purse to give a pink pop to the outfit. They are from a shop on Etsy but I forgot which one. However, here are some of the same styled ones! Last but not least, I am obsessed with my shoes. They are the Tory Burch miller sandal and they are so versatile! I got them from e-bay very gently used, but they were basically brand new, score! here are some from Nordstrom. I hope everybody has a lovely Sunday and I will be posting soon!

Happy first day of SPRING! I hope everyone's week was fabulous! In honor of the new season, here is a warmer outfit. We are still transitioning into spring so these Tory Burch miller sandles and pop of brightness with the scarf definitely gave the outfit a spring feel. My pants are from KIINDOF, the best pants ever. I have talked about them in previous posts. My shirt is from Old Navy which I have also worn in a post before, lol! I hope everybody has a happy spring season and weekend! Tomorrow, I am going to a bridal shower so I am going to take blog pictures, get excited!!!

Comfy Casual!

Hey guys! It's been a little bit but I am going to try to be more consistent with blog posts! Sadly, Elissa won't be on Sparkling South anymore. Everything is all good but she just isn't able to post as frequently! :( But, I will just be posting from now on so be looking forward to it! My shirt is new and it's from old navy and i love the pop of color and pattern it gives to outfits. The denim shirt is a little over sized and it looks really cute when thrown over other tops, I love it! I threw on some simple jewelry. My watch is from Breda and my earrings are from Francesca's. Hey guys! Long time, no post. It has been crazy cold here the past couple weeks for SC. This is just a warm outfit that I wore the day after Valentine's day before it iced up here. My jacket is from Old Navy. I am actually obsessed with old navy. They have the cutest, classy things for great prices. It is a great place to shop if you want preppy, nice things for reasonable prices.

I couldn't find it on their website, but my top is from J.Crew and it was 40% off! It's very cute and versatile and can be worn all year round depending on how you style it.

My shoes are combat boots and have lasted me for over a year. They are from Forever21 which I like sometimes. There are always gems among the stones there, am I right? These aren't the exact same but here are some similar ones!

I am in love with my new watch! I got it from amazon and it was half off of 54 dollars. So if you are looking for a gold watch that is a great price and great quality, definitely go check it out. Also, of course, I am wearing one of my Lily and Laura bracelet which I love!
